Early Spring Fertilizer Application (March)
Utilizes the best balance of both slow and fast release
fertilizers with the correct proportion of nutrients to promote a dark, healthy
green color for your lawn in the early spring.  

Crabgrass Pre-emergent Application (April-May)
The all-important crabgrass pre-emergent application
which includes broadleaf weed control
and additional nutrients and fertilizer.

Weed and Feed Application (May-June)
Concentrates on broadleaf weed control. We also apply
an additional application of crabgrass pre-emergent.
We continue with a balanced approach to your fertilizer
and nutrient requirements to continue your lawn's
deep green healthy color.

Summer Fertilizer Application (July-August)
This application continues the emphasis on fertilizer
to help your lawn withstand the stress of summer heat,
and as always, we control your weeds as necessary.  

Early Fall Fertilizer Application (September-October)
Provides the correct balance of nitrogen, potassium
and phosphorus added to a blend of both slow and fast
release fertilizer. Your lawn will thrive both in color,
and more importantly, in root structure.

Emerald Green Lawns believes strongly in a conservative approach to lawn care.  We believe in using dry, slow-release fertilizers in order to avoid burning your lawn.  For weed control we use liquid herbicides, which allows us to spot-treat problem areas, and avoid over-application.  These practices are more efficient, and more environmentally friendly.  And, upon request, we will use natural fertilizers.
